Practice Icons That Don't Really Have a Name Yet

I've done a couple practice icons this month that actually turned out pretty nice in my opinion. Should I keep going and try to make a set, or ditch it?

Anyways, even if you hate this idea, could I have some critique?

These look pretty good. I'd say go for it.

There's something about the third one that I can't put my finger on. I can see the degrees and obviously you're trying to do a full glass cover? If you are do a full glass cover maybe it's the needles?

I LOVE what you did to the folder icon!. It builds on the default mac folder and then takes it in a whole new direction. Keep up the hard work or you'll have to deal with me pouting from now on!

I like the folder icon, it's a perfect blend of the default Mac OS X Folders and someone else's touch.

That dashboard icon is looking pretty good too IMO

Fonts
Bookmarks
Networking/Downloads

Folders you could add, hmm? How about Private, and Applications especially. There's also Public, Users, and System, although I never use those, someone might.
