Edit Taskbar

Does nyone know how to change the text on the taskbar on Windows XP? I dont mean the little AM/PM spot but the START spot? Or even change the taskbar picture. That will be great! Thanks.

PS: It has to be free andnot a trial or something i have to sign up with.
