iTunes and foreign language lyrics

to whom it may concern

I listen to lectures and conversations using Sanskrit and Bengali, phonetically written in the Balaram font from Microsoft word.

It is a desire of mine to be able to copy and paste using this font into the lyrics section of iTunes, (and then onto iPod), so that I can then read and listen at the same time.

For me, this would be a great luxury.

Unless there is a solution already, are there any third party applications that will enable me to do so?

Maybe this is something that can be implemented without too much trouble.

maybe you should explain it a little better.

from what i understand you're trying to...copy some lyrics of a song in a particular font and be able to read the lyrics in that font on your iPod.

Yes, that's right. The songs are sung in Sanskrit and Bengali.

I have lectures and conversations also where Sanskrit and Bengali are quoted throughout. I have them in MP3 format already in iTunes.

These are in written format in a programme called Folio on my Virtual PC.

I can copy any particular lecture etc., in written format, and then paste it into Microsoft Word on my Mac. Then I change the font into Balaram.

I would then like to copy and paste these into the lyrics section of iTunes.

ok...that will not work. unless you use MPlugin, you can set that specific font as your default font for iTunes. For your iPod however, you will need iPodWizard in order to customize the font on it.

So, there is a solution to my problem. That's amazing.

Mplugin and iPodWizard; are these easy for me to download and use, or does it take some technical know-how ?

Well Mplugin doesn't. You can find it with iTunes on the forum. iPodWizard Does though, so if you want to do it, PM me and ill give you my email.
