I made this icon in paint.net and saved it as a png (which I have attached) and managed to save it as a mac icon. When I tried saving it as a Vista icon (256 by 256) it always comes out too small! I am using Axialis Icon Workshop, and this is my last day of the trial version 
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make this icon come out right in vista, and not have that annoying box around it ? Could someone actually do this for me using the png I have attached?

Okay, thank you. I saved it with a different name to my desktop and the same image shows up big with one name and small with a box when it has a different name
this always happens to me on vista as well.. Icons thats are 256x256 when enlarged; stay in the 128x128 size with that ugly trans box around them.
Do you know why? Sometimes when I restart my computer or something that goes away.. but I have no idea how to fix it other than restart
No idea wish I knew. I constantly hunt deviantart for nice icons, download 256x .ico icons, im all exceted, change the icon, it stays in 128x all shrivled and jagged. Very annoying. *Sign*; Microsoft...
