Macs aren't expensive

After thinking about it, macs aren't that expensive compared to PC laptops. Here's a pic to prove it.

I planned to post this before the updated macbooks, and with the same specs as the previous macbooks, the PC laptop was still more expensive! Now pc users can't compain that Macs are too expensive.

nice little read... but its no surprise really...

You can always sway this arguement with the particulars.... for example- the XPS may have some components the Mac doesnt have such as a card reader, larger/better battery (I dont know, does it?), more video related ports, or even faster wireless...

NB- You can probably prove me wrong on the points above, but my point still stands... Its all the little specifics which can bump up the price.

and besides... Dell has always been expensive compared to other manufacturers or build-your-own.

That said, I DO AGREE with you, the whole arguement about Macs being WAY more expensive is a load of crap.

It usually just seems that way coz Apple packs its computers with the lots- the cream and the cherry on top ... if you will. (wireless, bluetooth, iSight, mircophone, firewire, USB, DVD superdrive etc)

And theres lots in Apple's design that you pay for without thinking about- such as the magnetic rip cord, the compact design or even... yes, OSX.
