nahh I dont reckon Apple is about to update the Macbook Pros next.
They already run on the Core2 duo!
The Macbook was upgraded in order to fall in line with the rest of the product line in terms of speed etc... the Macbook was behind compared to the rest and therefor overdue for an update.
Apple seems to upgrade thier product range in waves. It started with the iMac- it was upgraded to the core 2 duo, followed by Macbook pro, Mini and Macbook models. (i think that was the order)
SO I think now that apple is about to send out a new wave, starting with the iMac again. I believe it will feature a complete redesign... colour iodized alluminium shelled iMacs anyone?

I think Levi could be right, but before I say anything I need to know what the specs are on the Santa Rosa platform, but I think the next update could definitely have some new 802.11n, an LED backlit display, an new ATI card, and maybe they will increase the amount of standard RAM and Hard drive space like the recent Macbook updates.

haha i was looking at a stock 15" MBP but now the new MacBooks have come out its more tempting but i think ill be waiting around for WDDC.
