I would really like it if I could make an app for Vista which would animate all the windows, and shrink them onto a little box on the desktop when I press "Win + D" Just like on OS X with onyx you can minimize all windows to a box you can drag around..
What language would I need to know to do something like this? and what kind of thing would I need to tell the computer to do?
hmm.... well there are ones out for windows xp (onyx?... ) that mimic expose on Mac.
Do u have much experience in programming?.... I dont, but my guess, is that you could probably somehow use or manipulate/hack Vista's own window switching program.

lolz well I think that perhaps this sort of program is a little too ambitious for starters...
I think that most programmers, if they knew a way to create an expose style program they would have already done it... to me by the time you've explained how to create the program, you could have already created it if you know what i mean...
but I dont really know, I've not ever done much coding myself.

Okay, thanks. I realise that it is a pretty ambitious goal, but I don't intend to do it right away. If I knew the basic idea of what was needed to make a program like this, then I could work toward it, while learning more and more programming.
