Synaptics Touchpad V6.2 mouth does not work

Hello,

My problem is that after switching off the touchpad mouse some time ago, now I cannot switsh it on. Usually I use a normal mouse, as it is more convienient. But when I am out of home I surely would like to use the touchpad one.

When I try to habilitate it in the contral panel, it works for several seconds only. I tryed it with and without the normal mouse - no differrence.

My computor is Acer Aspire 5610, Windows XP. Never had viruses.

I have tried to download a new driver from the link I have found in this post:

and put it on the existing one - no result.

Maybe I should delete the old version driver and then put the new one?

I've had the same problem today, and after 20 minutes of trying to install an uninstall drivers finally I discovered the solution: simply press "Fn + F7" to reenable the Touchpad, it worked for me. You must have disabled it while you were testing "Fn + F_" keys, just like it happened to me
