dude.. does this really position the icons on the right side of the screen and grow, as items are placed, down and left? You really get the find contribution award for this one! I haven't tried it out yet.. but went to the site and liked what I saw 
Yeah, if that's true, then this is a big deal. People have been wanting an application like this for as long as I can remember, and I'm surprised more people haven't posted. Thanks for the link!

see Sillysot homepage. The alignment is "temporary" somehow, I think new icons wil still appear on the left side, but looks cool anyway. Source is available, so it may not be too difficult to modify it to check for new icons, and move them to the opposite side 
This can be a really useful program however it refuses to save the icon positions on reboot each and everytime. Anyone have any ideas? Or just have to wait for version which is updated that can also save those same settings.
This type of enhancement is been needed way too long. Glad someone had the courage to take it up and put it together.

Some of us are just too lazy to move our 4 icons by hand. This so saves time... LOL

I got the issue of not saving sorted out. If you use the Right-Click menu to SAVE or RESTORE everything is P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

Hey listen up dudeicles, it was of WAY MORE then just some help and thanks so much for tackling this project. Just think of how most everyone is resigned themselves and their brains to always expecting desktop icons to snap to the one side.
You not only made it to snap the opposite way but "3" other ways!!!! Great Effort! Wonderful Work!!!

I don't want to seem rude, though i believe you may be mistaken. I did not make this software, I just found it online while looking for the same thing you all have. I wish I knew how to code, so that I could make something like this, though more automatic.

The only thing I liked about Iconoid is the Icon Dance.

I didn't want a program full of features just for one thing, that's why I removed it;)
The only feature that interest me is getting $M system to turn loose it's sticky default icon positions. Anything else is a bonus!!!!
