Developing with the Aqua Style

It's amazing the amount of information Apple just gives you! The Apple Human Interface Guidelines can point you in the right direction when it comes to designing anything so it fits perfectly in the Mac OS X Environment. There's also some good information for Windows programmers and emulators in there, like what fonts, icons, and even button dimensions and menu text are fit to be called "Aqua". And what should "absolutely never be seen in Mac OS X".

Just remember that the window title "untitled" should never be capitalized, punctuated, or numbered "1".

Don't you ever feel the need to know why? Where will following the AHIG blindly take you, if you don't know why you're doing it? Towards a prettier interface? Probably. Towards a human interface? Probably not.
