Can You Run Two Docks At The Same Time?

Does anyone know how to do that? I've tried installing Object Dock into different directories and renaming the exe files. But when you open the second version of Object Dock, it just opens up the preferences windows for the first version already running. Any ideas?

Same thing here. I tried almost everything but no succes. The only thing left is to hope that this ll be an option in the next, super charged version of OD :D

If Frogboy and Jeff do what they promised then wow "this will be exciting time to live in" (Y)

I would do the same except Yz runs horribly on my computer. I wanted to use the second dock as a task dock and just hide the windows task bar completly, but only Object Dock has the task bar I like. I tried installing it Object Dock on anohter hard drive as well, ending up with the same lame result.

I have used Objectdock for my programs and Y'z Dock on the right hand side for my drives, and my computer and such instead of having icons on the desktop, thus not having to worry about the size of icons. But it does take some memory but if you have over 512 you should be fine

i use Yz at the bottem and OD on the bottem right so i know wot im running. :woot:

Another trick for running 2 docks. Run 1 dock in non-mag mode to simulate large desktop icons. ;)

anyone have an update on this? I'm trying to do this now with my objectdock with no luck...anyone have any idea if I can run 2 object docks at once? If so...would you kindly be able to point me in the right direction on how to do it? :(

;) I dont think OD can do it at present. Y'z is good for the job and I can make Y'z & OD both run at startup, so I still stick to the idea of running Y'z & OD together...

any better tricks?
