Deviantart Poll On Docks

Hmmm some mixed and interesting views on the docks over at deviantart:

Why not vote and say what you think.

Personally I was shocked at ppls response to the poll/docks

Kids these days, they have no respect for the authors of the docks. Rat Bastards. Really, if you dont care for the docks, you dont have to go on and on and on and on. "I'm not going to try Yz dock, because it is buggy as stated" (anom) -- Thats the biggest pile of BS I've ever heard.

GOD, people like to piss me off.

I currently use Yz dock right now, since it is more accurate/smooth like the OSX dock, and is more stable (for me), and uses less memory and cpu.

But ALL the docks are good. I love them!

Well I had to vote for OSX. Sorry but it is the best. YzDock comes in a close second though.

deviantart is an art community, not a visual emulation one, so it is natural for them not to care about docks, plus their skinning is more artistic, it is focused to be that way, ofcourse there are a few exceptions.

OK, OSX Dock is the first, but I have not a Mac and I will have not in a prescriptible future. For me, I like more Objectock. Works well and combines the aspect and functionallity. The magnifivation effect works most smoothly to my computer and the tasks section is complete (I need it). I hope in the future additions and bug fixes. But, I don't stoppin' to salute Moby. His is an icebrocker. He is the man that have not affraid to Apple abusement of copyright laws.

well i understand deviant art being an artistic communoity.. but if they dont like docks THAT much, the yseriously dont have to go on dissing it.. but oh well..

I love Yz dock and like bill said.. all docks are great.. i love them each with tehre own unique ness

Whyis it even important what the people at Deviant Art thing of Docks?

We like them, at least I do, so that's good enough for me.

Deviant caters to a different crowd. As someone said earlier, they're not into emulation or cloning.

So it's really not important at all what they think, this isn't for them. It's for *us*, people that approiate docks and the OS X look in general.

I personally have really enjoyed being a part of Aqua Soft over the last few weeks and exchanging ideas with all the people here.

True they r different type of community and they have a right to their opinion ,they dont like them let them be ,I personnally dont like the dock but that does not mean Im going to go bash it but I know I have the right to my opinion.

all very true and valid points. The only reason why I posted the topic in the 1st place is because I’m a member of Deviant Art. I was shocked with my finding and felt like telling other of my findings. I all so like moding my desktop interface and I all so like docks/emulating Mac OS or any OS for that matter.. So we aren’t all as different as you think

btw a post about the new objectdock on DA had a much better reply all up by DA users.
