its an oversimplified OS for kids. but thtats just my IMO. people who have macs love to brandish how easy it is (and also unconsciously brandish how stupid they are)

Most people just say other os's are bad, well they never used them before... take xp for example it's got it's bad's but it's not terrifyingly horrible (im using it), OS X just happens to have a better visual style and programs (out of the box) like iMovie HD, iPhoto, Garageband, FrontRow.... and much more that's why this is a Mac Emulation place..

Aqua-Emulation is dead... If anyone has noticed (of course no one), Aqua-Gero has recently been taken online, and may not be up again. We had a semi-active community, and a relatively popular downloads section, but as people lost interest in making PCs look like a Mac... It slowly went down the drain. Also, OSX-E's forums are going down, because no one posted anymore. The only reason Aqua-Soft is still thriving is because it's community isn't reliant on Aqua-Emulation, rather it is reliant on all Mac and computer general topics. So there's my opinion 
I'm pretty sure once Leopard comes out, Emulation will be up and running once again.

I can't wait until that happens! lol It does seem like the number of emulators has gone down but Leopard looks really good! Unfortunately there aren't good ways to Emulate Leopard yet so we just wait until october or later for some new vs to come out. I'll wait and see how my forums go... if nothing happens I'll just completely re-do it and do vista emulation until leopard comes out. I feel bad for Aqua Gero 
EDIT 5/24/07 I've just added Vista Emulation to my site. I was suprised by the sudden number of hits in those forums...
I can't wait until that happens! lol It does seem like the number of emulators has gone down but Leopard looks really good! Unfortunately there aren't good ways to Emulate Leopard yet so we just wait until june-september for some new vs to come out
Yeah and i hope the "new features" get emulated still quite a while till it gets released
I really hope that Aqua-Emulation comes back... But somehow, I don't think it will ever be as big as it used to. Aqua-Gero may be coming back though... with a completely new focus.

The site (TigerVista) has been HACKED belive it or not, this is the first time anything of this magnitude happened to me. I will be moving the site to a new server at mysillypc, it should be up by tomorrow or friday

You should reopen aqua gero, im sure you'll get a lot of members especially since leopard is coming out and more people will want to emulate os x. Or are you guys just too busy or something?

Ah, I wouldn't necessarily say it's dead, but maybe slowed down? Many of windows users will be using Vista in time, and I'm sure many of them will be wanting to emulate Leopard. It's just Vista is a new OS and there's people with XP wanting to emulate it like with the whole aqua thing. (believe it or not)
