Preventing Y'z Dock settings from being lost

I was wondering if there is a way to stop Y'z Dock from losing the current theme when it is not closed correctly? Every now and then I lose my dock icons because the itemlist.ini the Y'z uses becomes empty for some reason. I have a backup of the file but I am trying to not have to rely on the backup everytime the itemlist.ini decides to clear itself.

I keep the file read-only, seems to work. However, yzDock hasn't crashed on me for ages (got rid of most of the docklets except the Bin and Winamp) so I'm not exactly sure - keep the backup :q

Hello hi just this moment I had this happen to me and I lost all of my icons and have to replace most of the icons for applications that are not included with the dock when I first installed application what do I do again? The last post was sort of confusing so i need help replacing the icons and then saving them so this wont happen again. This was a crash that did it but it was a system crash.

Well from what Dreadnaut is saying, go to your program files>y'z dock folder, right click on itemlist.ini, and check 'read only'.
