[help] Lessen The Icon Spacing

is there a way to remove the extra amount of spacing between the icons?(the area in black) I've tried adjusting the icon Spacing horizontal in the advanced options but it did not work. help :/

in Tiles view, the icon spacing doesnt matter. it (and the icon size) are constant
