I have used the uxtheme visual style patcher, I've used Windows Blinds and I've used Styler the longest, but just for opinions, what's your most favorite and most reliable skinning application you've used? I'm looking for a new one myself...

Well, favorite free one is uxtheme patcher. simply because the less processes open, the better.
There's really only 2 skinning apps: MSStyles and WindowBlinds.
Well still... I want to get to skin my Windows again but it's hard to decide which to use.
Styler uses the same method as the UXTheme Patch, but Styler provides additional options and so is always loaded into memory if you're using it.
Your other alternative is WindowBlinds, which apparently has a lower memory footprint than native Windows theming (the UXTheme Patch).

Use WindowBlinds dude, seriously way more options.. worth the price.
And as NC said, actually uses less ram than the windows engine.
Theres nothing wrong with Styler IMO, i use it and it don't pull on the system. I only have 512Mb. You can dress things up as you like. No it's not a WindowsBlinds but it can fashion things pretty nice.
I' mainly use my PC for gaming, so whemn I go into game mode I shut down styler , rk launcher, etc. Im not a windowblinds user coz I thought that it would be cumbersome to switch of/on when going into Game Mode. Am I wrong with this?
