Backup

I was hoping someone could help me. I had installed a version of FlyAKite a year or so ago and have since removed it from my computer. I must not have gone about it the right way, because it didn't restore my backup. So now I have all these bits and pieces still floating around my computer, and I can't see any way of getting rid of them.

I was wondering if I reinstalled FlyAKite, and then uninstalled if that would put my system back to normal. I'm assuming it would just backup my settings as they are now, and I'd have ended up wasting my time. But perhaps if someone could shoot me a zip file of their backup, I'd have fewer problems. That's pretty much the only idea I have, aside from a fresh install of windows, which isn't really feasible.

I'm open to other ideas, if anyone can help.

Thanks a lot. Sorry to come here asking for help, but I'm at a loss.

So what exactly is it you want a backup of? The system files that FlyakiteOSX replaces?

-NC

Yea, thats what I was hoping would help. I found a text file in my Windows directory called RestoreFlyAKiteOS. It looks like a list of the system files FlyAKite replaces. I was hoping if I had the folder referenced (./FlyAKiteOS/Backup/) I could get my system back to normal.

I've attached the text file I mentioned, in case theres any confusion.

Edit: Thanks anyway. My computer started throwing BSOD's at me every couple of minutes, so I just went ahead and did a format/reinstall. Problem solved.
