After using YWE on my laptop (Fujitsu T4020) for a couple of months I started to notice that the battery was lasting for less and less time. I only use AveDesk now and the battery life has gotten alot better, although it is still not fully recovered. Are there any other emulation programs that you guys have used that seem to have the same battery draining effects?

well, these aren't really emu apps, but I find that AIM and YIM both drain the battery and take up alotta memory. So, I use mirinda, which runs better and doesn't drain the battery.
Yeah I think using the computer also drains the battery.
try setting your battery options to more life or something like that to get a few more minutes out of it lol. I personally have done that with my Vaio and it helped with the battery draining problems
@quirt33: I stopped using Yahoo and MSN messenger some time ago. I use Trillian now but thanks for the heads up.

if i can remembe correctly trillian is a bit of a hog aswell... this was years ago though. you should give miranda a go. very light and very fast.
if you're on vista turn off glass effect while you're running off battery.. I always forget to do so >_< stupid MS and their crap
