look at the the topic uxtheme.dll.
I think it is useable whenever you do a new installation. so you have to do not all changes by hand because all the changes are done during the installation.

i haven't checked that link yet, but i need to say...
i've tried replacing the original xp set up files with modded ones, and during the install it comes up with an error saying it can't copy the modded files to the harddrive... so, iunno...
personally, i've literally just finished formatting and installing xp again on my hard drive, it was running really slugish with PACK's modded sp1 files.. that could just be my system though
(Pentium 2 350Mhz 64MB Ram)
yes, i know it sounds sh##, ehe - but it does the job

back to the CD, i'm guessing the xp installer checks for file signatures and such, creation dates maybe...

you shouldn't even run XP unless you have at least 128mb of ram...i'm surprised that you can run XP
OT:lol a few months back my step-dad ran XP Professional on his Pentium 233 laptop with 64mb of ram, it was a little slow, but it was more stable than the previous OS he was running (Me)
