hey,,,,,i have a big problem
when i want to do a system restore, everything works fine all the way up to when it restarts.
you know when you log on and get the window that says "system restore complete"?
i dont get that, instead i get
"your computer could not be restored. No changes have been made to your computer"....
whats the problem?! this has been this way for a long time now.....
if thats not the case....then i dont know what is....check your virus scanner

I beg to differ. I'm not stupid, but System Restore is a life saver.
Has saved me tons of times when everything goes wrong that is usually my life saver.
there is a smile at the end of the sentence, no one here is stupid, but system restore can do more harm then help, not always, but in most cases.

Actually he is right - System Restore isn't a real BackUp-Software - so it can be that you are still missing files after using it.
Maybe in the future you'd like to use a real BackUp-solution by Acronis or Norton.

i use superdooper do backup my mac...wonder if there is something like that for Windows.
lol I got a problem once and reinstalled windows... why? system restore didn't even load..... it's basically useless to me
