Reinstalling Safari

Long story short, I've seemed have gubbed my version of Safari. For some reason or other it won't even load, it just give me an error report and closes.

I've tried to reinstall after downloading the file from the Apple , but it won't let me. Plus it won't let me uninstall it either.

Is there a way of doing this?

As a side note I'm running Camino and it seems quite good, but I miss Safari.

Looks like you can do a custom install off your Tiger disc.

-NC

P.S: It may be worth it to try backing up and deleting "Safari.pkg from Library>Receipts," and then using the reinstall method you already detailed.

Thanks for the advice and link NC.

Through brut force and ignorance I managed to get it up and running again. I think the problem was SafariBlock.

Yeah, SafariBlock causes many problems for me too. Like frequent crashes. As soon as I trashed it, Safari was running smoothly.
