Hello peeps! Can anyone help me?
I have QuickTime installed on my computer and wanted to watch some Apple Trailers yesterday but for some reason the QuickTime logo appeared but nothing loaded or indicated that it was downloading the trailer.
So today I re-checked again and now the logo looks like the attachment below.
Seeing as how Aqua-Soft is the best forum in the world.
I decided to post this in the hope of getting some answers.
Here is a list of what I have done so far...
- Uninstalled QuickTime completely and downloaded the latest version v7.1.6.
- Removed all IE7 cookies, form data, history, passwords, temp files + settings stored by add-ons.
- Check to see weather the option "Play movies automatically" was checked and it is.
- Reset all QuickTime file types to default.
- Check for Windows updates.
Also...
- I don't have any browsers installed on my computer, except for Internet Explorer v7.0.5730.11.
- I have not customized IE7 in any way, apart from installing IE7Pro v0.9.18. Link
- I don't have any toolbars installed on my computer, including the ones that come with Yahoo! Messenger etc.
I think that's everything... Thankyou all in advanced, just incase my computer blows up or something. ![]()

[update]
I got this "iexplore.exe - Application Error" straight after closing the browser, after I posted this thread...
The instruction at "0x66869bc7" referenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.
I think I read something about this while searching and that it might have something to do with QuickTime but obviously, I still need help. ![]()
