hide/unhide tool

ok i have avedesk running and everything, but i was wondering if there is a setting or a tool out there that will allow me to hide/unhide avedesk without having to right click on the taskbar icon and close it that way. What i mean is if you use a MAC you know how you can hide/unhide the dashboard by pressing one key and you can go to and fro from your desktop to the dashboard. Can anyone help me out. Thanks in advanced

You can set desklets to the "Showcase" level, which means they'll only show when you press the hotkey. It's in the Properties tabs for each individual desklet, and there's a global option for which hotkey triggers Showcase.
