Taskbar didn't change to apple taskbar and Tiger System Preferences error

I've just recently installed FlyakiteOSX and after installing EVERYTHING and rebooting and updating and rebooting, my windows taskbar is still the same old windows taskbar. No blue apple, no nothing.

Also, (possibly related) in the Tiger System preferences, if I try and click on the "Dashboard & Expose" icon i get:

"It appears that the application you are trying to access is not available. Please makesure the application is installed and that the INI settings are correct"

Any help from someone with some expertise would be awesome. Thanks!

The Flyakite pack is NOT bad. It is the first thing I install on my xp box (after all the drivers, of course ).

For the first problem, have you installed the Tiger Visual style along with the pack? I think it is in the Skins section of the installer. I know you say you've selected everything, but it won't harm you to recheck. If it's not installed, then install it. If it is already installed, go to the start menu and navigate to the flyakite osx sub-menu. Under tools, you'll find an option called Current User Settings. open that and tick the checkbox next to the Tiger Visual Style option. If this doesn't work, then try this:

For the second problem, the Dashboard and Expose option is not working because you don't have an application for that. The shortcut isn't pointing to anywhere on your computer. This is not an error. You can change the shortcut path to on of your choice by editing the ini file of the app. If you don't know how to do that, then just leave it. It's nothing serious.

Turns out I did need to patch my uxtheme.dll file. Also, the forum you directed me to has a broken link for the patch file, so I googled it and found a more updated version that worked great!
