OS X Tiger Sounds?

Yay my first post. Anyways, anyone have a link to Tiger sounds in wav or mp3 format? And does anyone possibly know where to get leopard sounds, the new os x coming out? Or do you not know what they are yet? thanks.

Oh and does someone have real sounds, like ported directly from a mac?

Hey Oliuss, welcome to A-S ;)

First, make sure you don't double post :)

Secondly, try searching before you post something.

Haha, how can we know about Leapord's sound scheme if Leapord hasn't been released yet? :P

You can always try Flyakite, it will install the sound scheme for you :)

They're probably in .aif format. If you're looking for an app to convert them to .wav or .mp3, try DMC.

Welcome aboard.

FlyaKite uses Jaguar sounds, from here: http://www.jonmega.com/iceman/stuff/sounds/

I'm going to get a friend record his Tiger computer through a Line-In. You guys can beg me to share it if you want. :P

Like I said in my post in the second link by dave double u, they're not that impressive. In fact, there are only a couple of sounds, like the error sound, and the booting up sound the computer makes. There are no log in sounds, no question sounds, nothing like that. That is what I don't like about Tiger, it's too quiet. The best sounds will be in the jonmega site. After Jaguar, Apple started to drop sounds.

You can *listen* to aiff sounds in iTunes, but if you want to use them as a soundscheme you have to convert them to .wav

Well, my friend never did it, but I did make the promise, didn't I?

I wonder why no one else has uploaded them...

They're in AIFF, I have yet to find an audio converter for my new Mac ;)
