I think that the creation of a forum in the whole customization vein ought to be carefully considered at this point. The room is a bit crowded. You've got Aqua Soft, MacThemes (for OS X customization), WinMatrix, Neowin, and various others. It's pretty tough to wade into battle unless you're offering something completely revolutionary. It can't be just as good as what's already out there. It has to be five times as good, with a dozen new and exciting features.
For example; www.mysillypc.com offers cash prizes in monthly contests and hosts its own Gallery, two very inviting, unique feature!

That little screen capture is from a very annoying person that you are all aware of...MM3, also known as MSEOMPLOYEE.....As you can see, I own MSPC, but still a very regular poster here at AS. Nobody is trying to compete with AS. For a site just starting out, 5000 hits a day is pretty nice. I don't know how this thread got turned on MSPC, when it's about another members forum.
