Safari compatability extension

I'm after an extension that allows you to 'trick' websites into thinking your using a browser other than safari.

there is an extension for firefox which allows you to choose between modes;

*internet explorer 6

*Netscape 4.8

*Opera 8.51

*Default (firefox)

This extension is known as "user agent switcher" and can be found here;

Its VERY handy and allows me to access the WHOLE internet without having to switch browsers all the time, only trouble is that I prefer Safari over Firefox! and want to find a similar extension for my favourite browser!

Don't know about an extension for Safari, however, I do know 'Safari Enhancer' has the option to change what Safari identifies itself as. Not as hot swappable as Firefox plugin but all I can think of at the moment

EDIT- Yeah it sorta doesnt work.... The one in firefox was as you put it "hot swappable" and not only that but it just worked better at switching modes in 'full'.

for example- I use myspace and I can't run the 'advanced text editor' without using internet explorer 6. The firefox plugin allowed me to completely get around this, the safari one allowed me to get around the error message but the editor still didnt appear
