Aqua-Soft Forumsok i'v found a shell that i like BUT....i have no idea how to use it or whatnot lol i no nothing in this area. all i no is that a shell is the explorer on the comp.

Not quite. A shell is the program that allows you to interface with your computer on a system level. Windows Explorer is the default shell for Windows, because it provides you access to your files (explorer windows) and programs (start menu and such.) If you're using a command prompt, CMD is your shell (because it's what you talk to to make stuff happen in the console.) Technically, ObjectDock could be your shell, if you configured Windows to use it as such. Shell32.dll is just a helper library; it gives you shell-based dialog boxes and icons and such to use, but Shell32 is not your shell.
i think i know what he's talking about.
i don't remember the specifics, because i haven't done it in a long time, but basically what you do is replace the line where it refers to explorer.exe with the new shell. it's definitely a process that requires some know-how, otherwise when you screw something up, you might have some headaches.
