RK Launcher and shared accounts

I'm looking forward to using RK Launcher, but first I have a question about using RKLauncher on a shared computer - if I'm sharing computers with 1 other person (meaning there are 2 accounts to choose from in the Windows XP login page) and i install RKLauncher on MY account, do the effects also apply to the other account? In the past, I have installed features on my account that have affected the other account and the owner of the other account (my roommate) got very angry that I changed his settings - so, I was wondering if installing RKLauncher only applies to one account or to the entire computer.

Thanks for your help.

RK Launcher doesn't maintain different configurations for different people--there's just one folder and a single itemlist.conf file where the dock icons are defined. I think you can place this folder wherever you want--C:Program Files, or if that's a problem, some personal folder your roommate won't care about.

However, you can add a shortcut to start up RK Launcher, and add it to your account's startup folder only. Your roommate shouldn't even notice it.

What NC said makes sense. But if your roomate comes to his senses and realizes how superior RK Launcher is and decides to use it; he'll need a different folder with the program in it unless you two decide to share the configs.

Hmm, I think it was a bit more than that. I had between 6000 and 7000 for a while. I probably had 5000 around 9 months - 12 months ago. -NC
