Editing websites with Flash 8

How do you edit a website which is done in flash 8?

I have that.

I guess the next step would be opening the .fla file in Flash 8 and... editing it? What do you mean by editing? Would you like to change the text, or animations, or what?

You will probably have to experiment extensively or read a goodly amount of books or online tutorials. Flash isn't something you can just pick up and fly. It takes time.

I understand. If you want to add something to your flash site you need to go back to your flash file to edit . Is that correct?

Yes. The .swf file is the distribution medium, but you can't edit that--you have to go back to the .fla file.

It's kind of like compiler languages--you can't edit much of a .exe file, and you have to go back to the raw code.

If not, yes, you have to start from scratch.
