I agree with Ellada.

Not as harshly though, because I'm going to make some suggestions: Try to find focus for the content. DIgg has all news, but sites like Digg for specialized things like iusethis do well, because it has a reason for being there. If you focus on national news, than that's a difference, if you focus on design, than that's another.

Personally, I'd want a slower digg for design, but that's just me.
