I have no previous history in Media Centre, preVista I was running 'XP Media Centre Edition' but not once used it. Is it worth it, should I just stick with my media player? I do watch alot of movies on my pc and have my intire music collection on here.
What dose everyone think of Media Centre?

i was fooling around with it in a computer store, and it is DEFINITELY different than just WMP. There are a couple of cool things;
1. XP MCE came with a remote to use, so you could hook it up to your TV.( if you want, you could buy an AppleTV, and it does the same basic thing)
2. XP MCE had a TV tuner built in and could be used if the computer had the tuner installed, so you could record tv like a tivo, and save it to your HD.
I personally dont do movie watching on my PC, so I dont need it, but if you do, it may be worth it.
(I also like the new HP Touchsmart PC with the touch screen monitor....WOW!!)
