I recently tried to install the latest version of multiPlugin. I am using iTunes version 7.0.2.16. I tried the newest version of multiPlugin and also the previous version with the same affect. The setup could not locate iTunes installed on my computer. I used a customized install of iTunes. It's a silent install and it doesn't have QuickTime bundled with it if that makes any difference, although I don't see why it would. Thanks for any help in advance. I really want to use this plug-in. It sounds great!
I cannot install multiPlugin
Just try the full install of iTunes 7.0.2 . I believe you can still find it @ Apple support with a bit of digging around. It is possible that something has gone wrong with the custom iTunes setup you're using. Bad code maybe. Here's one better>> iTunes 7.0.2 combined with MPlugin 2.5.1
Eh... I don't think I'm going to do that. I don't want quick time at all. I've got quick time alternative and I don't want to install the real thing. I guess I'm stuck eh?
not really. go to http://www.oldapps.com and go to the iTunes section, and download the 7.0.2 installer. then install multiplugin. good luck

How'd you get your customized version? Anyway, this page seems to suggest that iTunes can run off of QT Alternative. I would uninstall everything (iTunes and QT Alternative), follow the directions on that page, and then try installing Mplugin.
On the other hand, the newest version of iTunes that you'd get from the Apple website will not work with the current version of Mplugin (more accurately, the current version of Mplugin won't work with the newest iTunes
). You could try following metallicamaster3's suggestion--why don't you want to install "iTunes 7.0.2 combined with mPlugin"? I'm not sure that it includes QT, and even if it does, you can download and install it, uninstall QT, and then re-install QT Alternative.
