I wanted to change the Windows dialog box font to something other than Tahoma, so I used the MS Shell Dlg registry hack to go about this. However, after I changed the values of MS Shell Dlg and MS Shell Dlg 2 as instructed by this tutorial, the font still did not change from ugly Tahoma after the reboot. I tried using the Lucida Grande registry hack as well, but that did not work either.
Put simply, I want to transform the boxed areas in the window below to a different font.
Yes, I've tried changing the font through the advanced options of the appearance tab and also tried using another theme; no luck there, either. This isn't actually the theme I'm using; I'm using Cerebro as ported by Astyanax and I'm using the HandelGotD smoothed fonts that require turning off ClearType. The overall look of the dialogue box fonts is shown below, however.
I'm using Windowblinds 5 and Windows XP SP2.
