PS3 the cure of cancer?

in Google News, and sort of breezed thru it... till I came to this;

The new firewire will allow people to run Folding@Home; which in turn could cure diseases because the program helps scientists to "to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases" by using other people's computers to perform calculations.

interesting, but im not sure I'd want my PS3 phoning home and using vital system memory and processing power when playing games.... but I guess if it only turns on when ur not using it then thats ok.

I heard on NBC business or whatever that PS3 was a great loss for Sony, and they still have money to make for it. It's way to expensive for my taste. I mean c'mon....600$ or 700$ or whatever is completely and utterly ridiculous for a gaming system...

haha thats crazy

i don't think the wii looks that great to be honest don't get me wrong the controller is cool but i don't think the graphics are that good lol. the ps3 looks great but i aint played it yet and i don't think i will at that price (£524.99) until it comes down a bit haha.
