Folio Site (Feedback wanted)

I've had this design for a few months now, but I've never really had the chance to advertise it until now.

Please feel free to comment on the design. I'm always looking to improve it somehow. I know some things are a bit iffy (ie the bottom bar containing links to recent posts), but I will fix those problems.

My host's servers were down for some time today, but you should be able to access it now. The site looks different from the screenshot since I decided to try out a new theme I coded for WordPress.

I see you've been researching that Web 2.0. it looks very nice, very nice indeed. however, if you're looking for ways to make it even better, try adding a tad more color. i know the look you're going for but you're colors seem to be the least eye-catching.

Thanks for the suggestions. The colors are boring, especially for something that's supposed to be a portfolio. And the header has nothing to do whatsoever with the rest of the site. It was meant to be a wordpress theme for a site of a completely different subject matter than the portfolio.

I do not like the fact that the sidebar and content are in 2 different boxs. I suggested to have them in 1 box. I also think background colors should be change.
