Video_TS to MP4

i just for the first time decided to rip a DVD of mine (Borat, if you must know) to put it on my iPod. I used MTR for it, and it got the job done. However, all i am left with is a folder, which is called VIDEO_TS, with multiple files inside. How do i get this folder become an .mp4/.m4v file for example? i searched around google but couldn't really seem to get a straight answer. anyone know?

HandBrake is the best by far if you're on a mac... simple, fast, etc..
