Filetype icons

I'm looking for some good mimetypes for common things like text files, image files, html files and scripts. ANy good ones?

Docunium by rimshot is recognized as one of the great filetype icon sets.

And I think the word you're looking for is "Filetypes" not "MimeTypes." They're not quite interchangeable. I've retitled your thread for the time being, unless you're positive you want MimeType icons.

It's not the biggest collection of filetypes, but they do look nice:

You can open ico files in Linux.

If you only want the 128x128px open the file with eye of gnome (eog) or gThumb and if you want every size and color you can open it with gimp. The only problem with gimp is that each size is in its own layer.
