i have Microsoft's (yuk) VIrtual PC 2007. YAY FOR THAT! so now i need help getting Ubuntu 6.10 to install with it! when i boot into it from the Live CD ISO, everything runs fine. Then, after the boot screen, the UI is completely distorted.
:( i want to be able to run Ubuntu with out Restarting my computer. Any help? :(

Is it possible to boot from a .iso file on your HD instead of the cd? Might try that. I had trouble installing a guest OS on a Vitual Machine from the cd and when I copied the installation disk as a .iso file and pointed the installation to it...perfect (and faster)
actually thats exactly what i did. After that, i tried the LiveCD from the actual Optical Drive. That didnt gimme any luck either....
