CAD in Vista?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew the details of Autodesk (more specifically AutoCad'07 and Inventor 11) & SoildWorks'06 & CoCreate OneSpace, Running on Vista. I can't seem to install Inventor & CoCreate due to 'Missing Framwork'. AutoCad'07 crashes after about five minutes.

Has anyone elece heard anything? From what I've read, CAD operations are aparently "80% Slower" on Vista and AutoDesk has refused to release an update/patch to run with Vista and M$ (from what I've read) is not doing anything about this for quite a bit (until SP#)

Right now I'm forced to put aside my very expensive VistaUltimate and use XP to run CAD's.

I was able to install cad 07 by running in 2000 mode with admin privs. the software I have no clue.

Same story here, bro. I need acad 2007 for work, but unfortunately, my vista system running beta 2 wouldn't even let me start the program. You probably should just stick to XP for everything else, while you're at it.

create a new partition and dual boot. use XP for serious stuff and Vista for everythig else, thats what I had to stoop to doing.

acad07, bricscad v7, works without any problems on vista

----UPDATE----

I hated dual booting, so I ditched XP and found such a simpler solution,

[RightClick]AutoCadIcon, [Poperties], [Compatibility], [X]Run for...[Windows XP]

I had totaly forgotten about that option. Now it works flawlessly.
