well i didn't use any tutorials, probably explains why my image is totally different to everyone else's orbs...
My first Photoshop endeavour!
hehe, here is my first released "icon" from a very long time ago, laugh, ridicule im all for it ![]()

Ha very shexyful Carmen Electra's great in that i like the way you used those really bad photoshop icons and made them into wings...not bad for your first. My first was a photoshop virtual car tune mod but im gonna have to dig it up since its pretty old...took me ages to do back then though
@Jjcd7: do you remember de tutorial you used.. i'd like to try this out
its all about your sloppy first jobs see if you can dig something older man
Can't find my first phoo.. GIMPshop, so I guess I'll just have to show my earliest work I could find. Its a mod of a nice lady's photograph that I saw in a screenshot here, It was done in mspaint.

Bonus points for anyone who figures out how it was made.
My first wallpaper lol

Actually, I opened my deviantart account with this one. Its deleted now though ![]()
Not too bad..... Maybe you could refine it and rerelease it...![]()
I've played around with photoshop once or twice over the years but not much to completion and I'm very much aware of my ignorance with this powerful tool.. but here's my first photo adjustment to a recent portrait shoot (I'm also pretty new to photography) does this count?
Very retro firecracker6!
My first wallpaper lol
Actually, I opened my deviantart account with this one. Its deleted now though
Absolutely hideous ![]()
@firecracker6: wow thats really nice...so warm
thanks guys, means a lot coming from the talent here at AS.
The amount of layers used seemed overkill to me in hindsight but I kept finding areas in the shot within which I wanted greater depth. I now appreciate even more the complexity of photoshop projects and the constant strive for the end piece that sometimes never seems to say, "there! You've got it. Your done."
ps.. photoshopping that remote control into the background was the hardest part ![]()
i like it firecracker looks renaissance-ish

Orignally 1600x1200. Named it Migraine. I think I used motion blur, conversion to polar coords, filters... bleah. I can't do anything on PS anymore (anymore? Who am I kidding?
).
thehundredthone, that actually looks pretty cool. It reminds me of a nebula.
The file attached with this post is my first Photoshop graphic made with the intention of exploring the features of the application. I've used other graphics programs prior to Photoshop, so I had a little bit of graphics experience. The main picture within this wallpaper is based on a picture I took of the Art Institute of Chicago.
