SmartFTP Client is a great app...but its icon sucks.
The Firefox icon looks nice in general. But yeah, it just doesn't "fit" in the dock.
I agree that the Limewire icon could use a touch up/redesign. It doesn't look all that nice, either.
I don't like the Audacity icon. Again, great app...bad icon. Aptana Web IDE has the same problem. It's so clunky in a dock. lol

That's a very nice Firefox icon replacement.
Yet, I have no idea why on earth anyone would use Firefox on a Mac.
Preview: I can't stand that image of the strange little kid with the wacky eyes.
Mail: The Mail icon is acceptable, but its just kind of bland. Its been the bird stamp for as long as I can remember OS X (and some screenshots of Rhapsody I think).

I find the stock Vista icons to have considerably more flair than the stock Tiger icons, especially the folder icons, which are ugly as hell. The ones in Leopard have a more basic design, but still look much better.

I kind of agree with you there, the leopard folder icons are basic but quite eyecatching compared to tiger folders, and although i would say vista is a vast improvement on XP, i would never say they are as...flairtastic?!?!? (lol) as tiger ones, but indeed the folder icons are much better looking

I would, I just don't like the Tiger icons, they are so ugly. I think Apple tried to hard to make them too photorealistic. The ones in Leopard are much better because they are just better integrated into the look and feel of Leopard overall.
Personally i like the idea of the leopard icons, but i don't like how the folders don't have any color to them, at all.
