What I want to know is: Can Vista be installed over Windows XP that is running the Fly-a-KiteOSX?
I purchased Vista Home Premium edition and I am running the Fly..OSX.
Has anyone done this? Will/should I try and get back to XP before installing Vista? If that answer is yes then how do I get back to the Windows XP OS?

You can upgrade XP to Vista. It will take up to 4 hours to complete.
Clean install takes about 20-30 minutes. Reason for the long upgrade process is it does compatibiltiy checks on EVERY piece of software you have installed plus it then has to migrate your entire registry
Make a back up of your important stuff and do a clean install.
All the system files, including the Flyakite mods, will be replaced during the upgrade process. Flyakite mods are not compatible with Vista anyway.
This is an old post, But I was running XP with flyOSX and instead of losing all the benifits of xp, I dual-booted my PC so im now running both and i highly saggoust (if you have the space) to do so until all the tweeks in Vista have been made.
