As theres more chance of me getting an answer here than anywhere else ...
Does anyone know, if Windows XP Skins will work on Windows Vista, or will there be visual elements of the GUI that are missing or not displayed correctly, from my understanding vista uses .msstyles which was the same as under Windows XP??

If you own Windowblinds they will. And they work great!
yea, this is kinda the thing with me and Vista. I'd definitely like to use it if my skins worked on it. haven't tried yet, but...
same here. i would like to make my XP Emulation to graduate to a Vista emulation.

naww, best of all 3 worlds: XP stability, Vista Functionality, Mac OS X...everything...yea.
Windowblinds uses "smart skinning" to help skins made for XP work on Vista. I have been running XP skins with Windowblinds 5.5 and the XP skins I have used work great actually.
You can also use SkinStudio to import .msstyles made for XP and convert them to work on Windowblinds for Vista.
