Displaying the iPod as formatted for OS X, even though it's for XP

i have iTunes 7.0.2 (hopefully 7.0.3 will come out soon) and an iPod Nano G2 2GB.

You all know the About View in Settings, right?

And for all you Windows users, it says some ugly thing...like

and all that nasty shizz...

and for OS X? well it doesnt even bother to tell you that its formatted for OS X......

to me, the Apple put it there mainly just to point out the shame that whoever is useing the iPod has Windows, not mac.

its like the iPod is saying...

"hey, look at me! im owned by a freak that still uses windows!"

or if you wanna get shameful...

"oh, hey guys.....yeah im a 'win'pod..."

So heres the point of this thread:

Does anyone know how to get rid of that?! if its in the iPod_Control folder i know how to access it, but i cant seem to find it or know how to edit it at all!

So, be a nice person, and lift the shame of my shoulders!

Actually the formats are different, a windows formated ipod has a fat32 filesystem but a os x one has a hfs+ filesystem, so the only way of changing it, is to format the ipod in the selected os

lol not much, but i want to "prove" to my peeps that i have a Mac, and this is the only way to prove it....lol.

so can i edit the FAT32 into a hfs+ while still haveing the capabilty to use it with my windows machine? by the way....whats the diff????
