Icons not working right on multi-monitor setup!!

According to the AveDesk website, it supports multi-monitor setups.

That said, I wanted to place a set of three PidlShortcut desklets on my secondary monitor.

The first one I created was the My Computer shortcut.

I tried dragging the icon to where I wanted it on the second monitor but it kept jumping back to the edge of my primary monitor. So I manually punched in the X and Y's of where I wanted it to reside.

That did the trick (albeit the roundabout method of getting there), but then I tried to right click on the icon, and the right click dialogue appeared on my primary monitor in the very corner of the screen...

I don't know if I'm missing something, but AveDesk doesn't seem to handling my second monitor well at all. Is there something I can do make the positioning of PidlShortcut's easier, and the keep the right click menu where it should be? And is there maybe a Multi-Monitor support option I forgot to enable?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!!

I'm using version 1.3.

Hmm, that might be the problem there; you using 1.3. Try the 2.0 beta, it's really worth it, and it works like a charm :)

Hope that fixes your problems ;)

Thanks, evilmnky204 !!

I'll check that out right away!

UPDATE: With version 2.0 Beta, the icons seems to be working better, but the right-click context menu still pops up on the other primary monitor, instead of the secondary monitor where the icons actually reside.

This is incredibly annoying, but since AveDesk is so awesome, I can live with that until someone figures out how to fix it.

(Also I've noticed the the vertical position of the right-click menu changes based on wherever I have the icons placed, but the horizontal position is what does not want to change.)

I'm pretty sure this is not a AveDesk related problem. I have a dual monitor setup and AveDesk works just fine:

Here's an example with a lot of PidlShortcuts

I'm afraid I can't get offer any assistance otherwise though...

Hmm...

Well that screenshot doesn't show any right-click menus so that doesn't help me much,

BUT it is a pretty freakin' cool desktop I must admit. ;)

BTW, what do you guys use to set up your multi-monitors? Just the basic Windows OS multi-monitor options? Or something else?

Right click menus? I'm not following you...

For dualmonitors i use UltraMon, it's pretty sweet, get individual wallpapers for your screens, extend your taskbar, assign hotkeys to switch between windows etc. I couldn't live without it...

When I say right click menus, I mean the right click context menu that pops up when you right click on a shortcut. It shows the standard Windows context menu options as well as some AveDesk specific options. :D
