Have you ever been using one OS and then tried to do something which can only be done on a different OS?
Case in point: I had a bunch of windows open that I wanted to minimize. Normally I'd press F11 to activate Expose, but something--I don't know what--made me press Command (Applekey) + D. I guess I was really tired, and defaulted to the Windows + D shortcut that hides all windows. Obviously nothing happened...I'm glad I didn't somehow destroy the computer!

There is always something that catches me out - especially with XP themed as OS X!
Unfortunately it gets even more pathetic than that when I am working doing something else - like painting the dining room and I spill paint on the floor..
...my immediate reaction is to want to press the "Undo" key.....

It's weird, when I lose something, my first reaction (most of the time) is to Google it..

The two fingers on the trackpad is another mistake I make all the time...it's actually getting quite annoying now. I could probably find new mouse drivers for these other computers, but the thing is, I usually just use them when I'm helping someone else out, so it's not really my computer to install drivers on.

I always put my cursor to the corner of the screen to activate expose (i have it set to show all open windows on my Mac).... and I get crabby when XP doesnt respond
the windowing system in OSX and Windows is so vastly different... it creates a totally different experience.
@Ertai - I also find myself googling thing's i've lost.... even worse is after a long convo on MSN I used "lol" in a normal face to face conversation.... soon I'll be searching for my car keys in google.

I keep forgetting CTL+C and CTL+V aren't the same on the Mac, I've really got to the think what what I'm doing when it comes to keyboard shortcuts, cause I don't use the mouse a great deal of the time.
I honestly thought those keyboard commands were standard throughout the computer world, just shows you what I know.

When I was taking a computer design course in 2005, I was using Mac G3s with OS X Tiger. That had me totally screwed up in Photoshop and In Design...the key commands were similar but just enough different as a native Windows XP user to confuse me. I swear tried to use the Apple Key as the Windows Key several times...
I keep trying to use the windows key+something now.
Like Win key+C to copy.
Saddest thing ever, is I'll try like three times before figuring out the problem.

i experience a similar phenomenon: let's say i'm driving down the street and catch a billboard out of the corner of my eye and go 'what the heck was that?'. i instinctively extend my hand towards the radio cluster to hit the 8 second replay like on my tivo, like i could rewind life. oh, tivo, foul temptress...
I have a problem with the Apple key vs. the Ctrl key for Mac vs. Windows. Otherwise, I'm good.
I used to have my crummy laptop with an OS X theme. Since I got my Mac, I've had to change it to a Vista-style one to ensure that I remember that I'm on a PC. Why?
- I move my mouse to the hot corners to activate the non-existent Exposé
- I do a lot of Command - (insert key here) shortcuts, especially in Photoshop
- I keep trying to do a lot of dragging and dropping, with no success
The list could go on, but I'm tired.
when i had the vista beta, i kept grabbing for my media keys, even though they didn't work.
having recently installed ubuntu, i still keep grabbing for fast forward, even though only pause/play works 
also, even though i've had ubuntu for less then a week, i keep trying to use the beryl eye candy in xp 
lol sometimes when im on my mac i go to the right side of a toolbar
on windows i've been pressing windows key + c or v for copying and pasting.. i don't have an apple keyboard yet
lol you can use an apple keyboard on windows?! boy have i been missing out!!!! i have an extra one that came with my iMac that i can use. Do i need any extra software for it? i use a mighty mouse too 
which i knew worked.
lol about the programs just download WinExpose for windows with expose, and you can tweak the hotkeys with a nifty peice of software (which i cant remember) for XP (not Vista) that will allow you to make OS X hotkeys work on XP. good luck!
I've tried to go looking for linux menus that aren't there on windows.. I've, like,Raats, try to press undo keys if I make a mistake, etc.... When I can't find something, i think to google desktop it....Or, If I'm using a book, google the ino I want....

Same here...especially in photoshop, illustrator, textmate, and especially microsoft word..lol
I always mix up the CTRL and CMD commands when I cross over from OS X to Windows. I'm too used to Parallels (because it's drivers allows you to use CMD instead of CTRL). Nothing major happens more than the Start menu popping up.
hehe and me, I pressed printscreen on vista and waited for the screenshot to appear on my desk :mad: took me a while to realise i wasn't on OSX
