Does anyone know how to change the icon for -My Pictures-...? :blink:

Yeah, there is a program that can do it. It's called Change Folder Icons, and it can also change drive icons. Your computer must be restarted for the change to appear though. I just downloaded the new version and it has a 30 day time limit. I think I have an older version that doesn't have a time limit. When I go back to school tomorrow, I'll check my computer and see. If so, I'll let you know and anyone that wants it can have it.

I checked, it's $17 to register it, and I think that is a waste. The version I have at school still works with XP and is free, so I'll upload that somewhere for everyeone. Even if you use the new version, the nice thing is that your icons are still changed after the time period is up. You can search icons you just can't change or export them anymore. So, if you only have a few to change, download the new one, change them, and then don't worry about it anymore.

Do so please, I just finished installing CFI prog and its a "30 day trial or 30 day execution" lol :lol: . Anyways once I finished installing it, I ran the prog, noticed my mouse cursor was loading but nothing appeared, I right clicked on My Pictures which is what I wanted to change and click on "Change Folder Icon" and again nothing appeared. Hopefully this prog you have works, as soon as you get the chance to upload it post it up . Thanks

There is a program by Stardock called IconPackager. Don't know if this rings a bell for any of you, but you can change just about all the icons. After you are done you can uninstall it and your icons will still be there.

Doesn't quite work Pacal. Yes, it works to an extent, but not totally. You can't have a specific icon for a ZIP drive, or different icons for you different hard drives, that's the whole point of these programs. That way your cd-rw drive can be a cd-rw icon, your dvd drive can be a dvd icon, your 4 or so partitions can have different icons.
