Minimized applications won't maximize

Hi! I'v been using this program now for about half a year and didn't experience any problems beside this one: an application is running, I minimized it and then sometimes I've had 2 shortcut symbols in the rocket launcher. Both were from the same program. One was colorful and has shown the small miniature of the used program. The other miniature was black, but it still belonged to the program.

Usually I first clicked the black symbol...nothing happened. Than I clicked the colored symbol and the program maximized again. So far, I was fine with that bug.

But then unfortunately I once clicked the colorful symbol first, then the black one. The program never again appeared at all. It was active in the background, but I couldn't see the actual program on the screen. Skype is just one example. But this happened to 3 programs. Re-Installation didn't help either.

I really need a solution for this problem. I've uninstalled Flyakite already, but there was no change :-( PLEASE HELP!!!! What can I do?

I've had that problem with RK Launcher, and if the program is running in the background I just try either ALT + TAB and switch to that program.

Don't waste your time re-installing Flyakite. This is purely an RK Launcher issue. Have you tried updating to the latest nightly version (linked in a stickied thread in this forum)?

hey! I've actually removed the complete flyakite. it didn't help. Do you think re-installing the whole program (including the RK-launcher) will help? I think I have the latest version.

Is itz possible to just install the RK-launcher without the whole flyakite-program?

I had that same problem with RK, I ditched it.

If your up for a more reliable dock, you will probably like ObjectDock by Stardock, it's heavier on the system resources, but smoother and well worth what extra ram it may take.

I've installed the latest RK-Launcher now togehter with Flyakite, no change.
