Windows Screensavers

I am unbelievably frustrated because I have been looking through a bunch of sites trying to find some nice windows screensavers that don't completely change you're desktop but do something with either the windows you have open or with your desktop. Like the fluid screensaver for macs. Is there absolutely NOTHING for Windows that does something like that?

Please, if you know of any good sites that offer good windows screensaves, tell me.

There's a whole bunch.

I don't see any that take your windows/desktop and use effects..

I don't want things like the default windows ones that just put something over whats on your screen.

spyro, if you have vista, you can get the bubbles screensaver.

it has been ported to xp, but on mine it does the bubbles over a black background, not the current screen.

I don't have Vista.. yet. Where can I try the bubbles one?

edit: heyyy bubbles works again!

to change bubbles to marbles, put radius as 256 and materialglass to 0 :D

(works for vista users too)

There is (or was) a screensaver called Fishmaus made by System Shock.

I basically makes your desktop look like it is underwater. You can change the water color, water flow speed, and the cursor turns into a little fish.

Ill look around for it or may upload it if you are interested.

there used to be a screensaver in windows 98 (old i know, but this one was kinda cool) that used a whole heap of warping effects...

like a magnifying glass would pass over windows, or a 70's shagadelic twirl, or a dimple.... much like the liquify effects do to photos in photoshop, this screensave did to windows and the desktop.... totally forgoten the name tho.

The vista Screen Savers (incl the bubble one) you are after for XP are available here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Enhan...ted-to-XP.shtml

I have run them all without any problem

@nrossow: Yeah, that's the kind of thing I'd be interested in. Any progress on finding that under-water screensaver?

Thanks for the links, but I am still looking for two specific screensavers, one is the fluid screensaver (originally for mac) and the other is Fenetres Volantes

I find a bubbles screensaver exactly like vista bubbles but have power views than it.

flowBubbles described special for xp and win2000 and win98.

1, You can place your photos into bubbles.

2, You can use your photos as screensaver background image instead of the static desktop image.

3, It has charming sound when bubbles crash each other

for detail, you can search flowbubbles from google or yahoo to get it.
